Häagen-Dazs - chocolate fondue

leavin my FYP ( final year project ) aside, i decided to post another deeeelicious blog.. yeah, another food review.. plz bear wit me.. ever since i uploaded those yummy pictures, i received tons of enquiries regardin the fondue.. so, to cut all the folies, i decided to blog bout it..

on 10th oct evenin, i was suppose to go for present hunting in mid.. then, my friends dragged me along for tis cosy tea-time snacks, Häagen-Dazs chocolates fondue..

the fondue pot is made of ceramic n separated to 2 side; chocolate filling n roasted almond... i've got no idea tat is roasted almond, i tot it's just plain nut.. nevertheless, both taste the same to me.. hoho

the fondue is shared by me n 2 of my friends.. serving altogether 16 little balls of ice cream, chipsmore cookies, love letters, cakes, wafers, fruits like peaches, green apple n banana.. n of all the fruits, our local fruit, banana, tastes the best when coated with chocolate and roasted almond.. yummy!! by the way, i hate the yellow slimy peaches..

we r given a handy long fork to dip those servings.. dippin ice cream into the melted chocolate ( aaawww ) n then roasted almonds.. the taste is just heavenly..!!

the cost is rm54.90 per set ( stated in the menu ) n after the stupid tax, it'll b approximately rm63.. may b a lil pricey for a small portion of dessert.. but, fortunately, the treat is on my buddy, leslie..!! coincidentally, it was my burfday.. burfday really saves me up a lot *evilish grin*

if u dun feel like splurgin ur hard-earned cash, u can still enjoy tis dessert at home.. my style ( i haven't try tis before ).. hohoho..

1. steal an aromatherapy pot n candles to lit it up..
2. prep ingredients like cakes, fruits n anythin-as-long-as-is-dippable.. slice fruits.. if u like, u can try durian, mangosteen, rambutan, etc .. as long as u like lor..
3. get few bar of cheap chocolates, mayb kitkat or cadbury in supermarket..
4. melt chocolate over low heat.. then, transfer the chocolate sauce to the aromatherapy pot..
5. voila..!!

as the conclusion..

pros : perfect dessert as i loveeeee ice cream sooo much.. u will go "aaawwwww" on ur 1st bite..

cons : a lil pricey for some ppl.. n y they dun serve marshmallow ar?? i think marshmallow n chocolate r like peas in the pod.. nevertheless, the chocolate filling n roasted almond r in a tiny portion.. i heard they can b refillable.. but how do we ask for another pot since we r inside the posh kiosk?? "ah waiter, plz refill tis cho-co-lat n nuts ar" *roll eyes*..

review : HAO WEI DAO cafe

i've been to numerous cafe, from bdr puteri puchong to kepong.. but tis cafe is few of the bestest cafe in town.. located in tmn desa ( my old house ), kl.. ask me if u dunno where is tmn desa..

hundreds of dishes, from pasta to rice to noodles to steaks.. n yet the drinks r soooooo affordable.. i hardly seen any other cafe will still provides rm2 for a drink.. ( the island, in ss2, charged rm2 for a glass of sky juice.. shit!! )

i just love the pasta there.. can fight wit william's carbonara spaghetti.. hohoho..

review : john tucker must die

i had a date wit 2 of my long-lost girlfriends tis afternoon.. we settled in nando's for our lovely lunch.. throughout the lunch we confabulated bout our past n some juicy gossip.. the best part is they treated me the lunch due to my burfday..

i cannot deny tis is my best burfday i've ever had.. i never had celebration for 2 weeks in a row.. ooh gosh, i feel like a princess ( oni for tis month )..

then we had a minor collision on decidin which movies to watch.. but in the end, the times oni allowed us to watch the movie of my choice, "john tucker must mati"..

tis is my 1st review on somethin.. wat makes me review on a normal chick flick movie..?

tis movie reminds me on how some infidelity men cheated on my girlfriends.. those 2-timing or 3-timing useless scumbag.. i dun hv to elaborate on how useless n selfish they r, leavin my girlfriends hurtin like hell..

back to the movie, a pretty surprising good chick flick.. the movie is a mixture of love, revenge, flirtin techniques and, of course, hillarious schemes.. u can catch the hunky Jesse Metcalfe wearin nothin but thongs..!! even i'm not anticipated in Desperate Housewives, i knew he is the sexy gardener in the show..

plot outline : 3 ex-girlfriends of a serial cheater, John Tucker, set up their former lover to fall for the new girl in town so they can watch him get his heart broken.. talkin bout revenge..!!

my 2 cents : worth to watch if u r into teen comedies.. even my girlfriends r happy wit my choice =)

burfday fever

my burfday tis year is fantalicious.. the bestest n most happenin burfday i've ever had.. not to mention, malaysia gov purposely set my BIG day as public holiday.. thanks, malaysia!! *dreamin* soli, it is actually Nuzul Al Quran Day.. i got no idea wat it's all about..

when the clock struck 12am on 10 oct, my hp is flooded wit calls n sms.. 1 of them is nam nam's international call; callin me from US just to wish me "happy burfday" *touched*

just by readin the simple wishes from my frens r enuf to make my eyes wet.. is like knowin ur frens still hv u in their minds.. sooooo sweeeet..!! slushy me.. i dun mind receivin nothin but a burthday wish.. is just the thought that counts..!!

i celebrated my burfday wit tons of lovely friends.. every single nite is filled wit loads of love n surprises.. wat can i ask for more..?? i really cannot imagine my life without my dear friends.. *ish ish*

another busy day.. early mornin, i had the very last min shoppin spree in 1 utama.. then later in the evening, i hv to fetch some of the relatives to the restaurant.. left oni 15 mins for me to get ready.. alamak!! by the way, i din do any massive changes to my overall look..

the food is served at 8.30pm sharp.. is consider the earliest of all the weddings i attended.. anyway, chinese ppl will never b punctual in weddin banquet..! imagine the invitation card stated 7pm..

the banquet ended at 11:00pm.. n my bro is half way drunk.. kakaka.. at the end of the day, i did survived.. i din fell down or tripped *blessed*.. but my feet is aching like hell.. i'm wonderin y so many girls in loveeeee wit stiletto??

a freakin hot day.. i dun und y we hv to pick up the bride at 3.30pm, izzit the best time in chinese calendar..?? i'm sure everyone aware of the chinese weddin custom.. from pickin up the bride to prayin to tea serving to 1001 i-can't-remember-stuff..

last min shoppin.. been huntin for my ideal evening dress periodically.. finally, my frens chose a sheer chiffon dress for me.. not to mention buyin some special lingerie for the dress, high heels, shawl, makeup etc.. kill me bah

the good thing is.. my frens r sponsorin me heels n makeup ( as my burfday pressie ).. hohoho

wat do I sacrifice here? My frens hv warned me bout how I should behave on the weddin dinner.. I hv to be really well-mannered in wearin my si beh sheer dress n walkin on high heels.. basically, I gotta walk like a real lady, talk like a real lady, eat like a real lady n breathe like a real lady.. mission impossible la..!!

if i'm happened to b married in the future, i will set the guest's attire to mamak wear n flip flops.. so cool..!! ( i'm just kiddin )
